Arlington Convention Center and Hotel Project Begins Construction in Early 2020

    ARLINGTON, TX – The Arlington City Council recently approved a $550 million addition to the city’s Entertainment District. The project includes the new 888-room Loews Arlington, a publicly owned convention center and a parking facility for 1,500 vehicles. Construction is expected to begin in early 2020 and to be completed in 2023.

    Groups will have 150,000 sq. ft. of indoor convention space and 66,000 sq. ft. of outdoor space at their disposal, as well as a future expo hall that will connect via a skybridge to the 300-room Live! by Loews Hotel, which opened this summer.

    Additionally, a planned mixed-use development in the southwest corner of Globe Life Park stadium will include 100,000 sq. ft. of restaurant, retail, parking and small business incubator space.
