Staff Added as OKC’s Visitor Economy Paces Ahead of Pre-Pandemic
OKLAHOMA CITY- Visit Oklahoma City (Visit OKC) has added three new
staff members to the team to support the sports and convention demand
for the destination.
Visit Oklahoma City recently welcomed Lesley Patterson as Director of
Convention Sales. Previously, Patterson served as the Director of
Membership at Montage Palmetto Bluff in South Carolina and as the
Director of Guest Services at the Gathering Place in Tulsa.
Blake Ruggs, who joined the team as Sports Sales Manager, came to Visit
OKC after working in Tulsa with Major League Fishing.
Lastly, Liv Cowan will serve as Events Services Manager supporting
sports and equine events. A recent graduate of Oklahoma State
University, Cowan worked as the Social Responsibility Coordinator at the
YMCA of Greater OKC.

our staff is scaling to keep pace as we book and service new and annual
events,” said Visit OKC President Zac Craig. “We are excited to
welcome these talented new team members at Visit Oklahoma City.”
