The infrastructure and services and the operator of Hilliard Center, today announced the appointment of industry veteran Tiffany Sun as General Manager.
Sun, an 18-year Oak View Group employee who is relocating to Corpus Christi from Baltimore, MD, will begin her new role in Corpus Christi on June 22. She brings nearly two decades of experience in live events, sports, entertainment, arena management, and convention center operations to Hilliard Center.
Sun most recently served the company as General Manager at the Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena at UMBC, where she led all day-to-day business and operactions for the multi-purpose arena, home to college athletics, concerts, family entertainment, community events, and special programming.
Known for her collaborative leadership style and commitment to exceptional guest experiences, Sun will oversee the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of Hilliard Center, including Hilliard Center Arena, Selena Auditorium, and Hilliard Convention Center. She will work closely with community stakeholders, promoters, clients, partners, and local organizations to continue delivering world-class entertainment, conventions, and events for the region.

Sun has built a reputation for developing strong partnerships, leading high-performing teams, and driving operational and financial success. Throughout her career, Sun has successfully managed concerts, sporting events, community gatherings, meetings, conferences, and special events. Her experience includes venue operations, finance, event booking, marketing, sponsorship development, and business growth.

Sun also previously served as Assistant General Manager and Director of Sales and Marketing at Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, ME; Marketing Manager at Ted Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk, VA; and Sales and Marketing Manager at Northwest Georgia Trade and Convention Center in Dalton, GA.
