Hospitality sales leader to spearhead sales strategy and convention growth
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (April 17, 2025)—The Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau (LRCVB) has announced hiring Stasha King Irby as its new vice president of sales and services. Irby is a seasoned sales professional who returns to the Bureau after serving as a sales manager working with national associations.
Irby brings over two decades of industry experience and a proven record of driving global sales growth, developing strategic partnerships, and leading high-performing teams. Her return to the LRCVB marks a significant step forward in the Bureau’s continued commitment to elevate Little Rock as a premier meetings and conventions destination.
“We are thrilled to welcome Stasha back to the LRCVB in this leadership role,” said LRCVB President & CEO Gina Gemberling. “Stasha’s extensive experience in destination marketing,
consultative sales approach, and strong industry relationships will drive new business to Little Rock. Her passion for hospitality and deep market knowledge will benefit our partners, clients, and community.”
Most recently, Irby served as a global account manager for Choice Hotels International, where she was named a 2024 President’s Club Winner. Prior roles have included Visit Spokane, Royal Sonesta Houston, Ritz-Carlton New Orleans, and Hyatt Regency New Orleans, Little Rock’s former Peabody Hotel.
A Magnolia, Arkansas native, Irby holds a Master of Arts in marketing from Webster University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Southern Arkansas University.
