Expanded delegate experiences, incentive options, staff investment, and future hotel development highlight the venue’s place as “Where industry shapes what’s next.”

British Motor Museum Meetings & Events is strengthening its corporate and association offering as organizers seek venues that can help them deliver greater value, stronger engagement, and more memorable face-to-face experiences.

The centrally located venue is building on its position at the heart of the UK’s automotive industry with an expanded meetings and events proposition that brings together flexible conference space, museum access, incentive experiences, team activities, commercial investment, and future hotel development.

Under the direction “Where industry shapes what’s next”, the venue is placing greater emphasis on events that connect people, ideas, and progress, particularly for organizations working across automotive, engineering, manufacturing, mobility, technology, STEM, education, leadership, and professional communities.

For British Motor Museum Meetings & Events, the answer lies in helping organizers make more of every element of the delegate journey, from content and networking to recognition, reward, and shared experience.  Toby Batchelor, Head of Commerce at the British Motor Museum, said: “Organizers are under increasing pressure to make events work harder. They need venues that support the objectives of the event, help justify attendance, and give delegates something they will genuinely remember.”

“That is where the British Motor Museum has a very clear role to play. We are not simply a venue beside a Museum. The collection, the stories, the people, and the setting are all part of what makes an event here distinctive. “ Where industry shapes what’s next” reflects that combination of heritage and future thinking. It gives clients a platform for events that are rooted in British ingenuity, but focused on what comes next.”

Home to the world’s largest collection of historic British cars, the Museum offers a setting shaped by design, engineering, mobility, manufacturing, and social change. Its purpose-built conference and event center, combined with the collection, enables organizers to deliver professional events while providing access to one of the UK’s most distinctive cultural and industrial venues.

The venue offers 17 flexible meeting rooms for groups of 6 to 600 delegates, including the Conference and Exhibition Suite, which can host large plenary sessions, exhibitions, dinners, and events requiring vehicle access. The wider 65-acre site includes outdoor event space and hard-standing areas suitable for product launches, displays, ride-and-drive activity, and team-building programs.

As part of its improved offering, British Motor Museum Meetings & Events has expanded its Enhance Your Event options, giving organizers a wider range of ways to enhance engagement and add personality to meetings, conferences, and exhibitions. These include private Museum tours, archive access, vehicle displays, scavenger hunts, team challenges, remote-controlled car racing, driving activities, and bespoke catering moments.

The venue has also developed its Incentives Beyond the Ropes concept, designed for corporate groups seeking reward, recognition, and incentive experiences that go beyond traditional hospitality. The offer uses the Museum’s collection, archive, and behind-the-scenes access to create experiences that feel exclusive, memorable, and closely connected to British automotive heritage.

Tracy Ford has also joined British Motor Museum Meetings & Events as Business Development Manager, supporting proactive growth across agency and end-client markets.

Tracy Ford said: “There is a real appetite from organizers for venues that offer more than a room and a catering package. Clients want to know how a venue can support their objectives, improve engagement, and create moments that people continue to talk about after the event.

“The Museum gives us so many ways to do that. A drinks reception can take place among iconic vehicles. A conference can connect with themes of innovation, leadership, and change. A team-building day can use the wider site and collection to create something that feels relevant, enjoyable, and different.”

The venue’s appeal is set to grow with the planned adjacent 142-bedroom Fairfield by Marriott hotel, expected to open in June 2027.  The hotel will support the destination’s ability to attract residential conferences, multi-day meetings, evening programs, and incentive experiences.

Toby Batchelor continued: “The UK events sector has always been resilient, but resilience now depends on being proactive, creative, and commercially focused. Venues need to understand what clients are trying to achieve and help them create events that deliver against those goals.

“For British Motor Museum Meetings & Events, that means making the most of everything we have here, from our conference spaces and outdoor areas to the Museum collection, archive, vehicle experiences, and future hotel development. Together, they create a venue that can support serious business objectives while also giving delegates a powerful sense of place.”

“Our focus is on helping organizations bring people together with purpose, whether that is to share knowledge, recognize achievement, launch something new, strengthen relationships, or explore the ideas shaping their future.”
