MILWAUKEE (December 3, 2024) – Visit Milwaukee and TEAM LAMMI are proud to announce an exciting new partnership, which includes the launch of “Milwaukee Made,” a television show celebrating the stories, culture, and spirit that make Milwaukee one of Conde Nast Traveler’s Best Big Cities in the United States. This series builds on the success of Visit Milwaukee’s video series of the same name and continues the momentum of “Good Things Brewing,” the Emmy-nominated television program currently on hiatus.
Set to air in roughly a dozen Midwest television markets in late spring, “Milwaukee Made” will introduce audiences to Milwaukee’s unparalleled offerings. In a totally new format, each episode will highlight something only found in Milwaukee. The first three episodes will explore the city’s vibrant basketball culture, its dynamic beverage scene that establishes Milwaukee as the original Brew City, and its unique live entertainment and performing arts landscape bolstered by historic venues lovingly preserved over time.
Filmed and edited by Kingdom Filmworks, “Milwaukee Made” is hosted by David Caruso, Milwaukee’s preeminent event planner, who brings his passion for the city to each episode. He is also the host of “Good Things Brewing.” The show’s executive producer is Mark Kass, who served as editor of the Milwaukee Business Journal for 20 years before joining TEAM LAMMI earlier this year.
Through compelling storytelling and in-depth features, the show will highlight the people, businesses, and experiences that make Milwaukee truly one of a kind. The show will also have extensive digital and social offerings, with additional features and longer-form interviews with many guests to provide additional stories showing off some of the best of what Milwaukee offers.
“We’re thrilled to partner with TEAM LAMMI to bring ‘Milwaukee Made’ to viewers across the Midwest,” said Peggy Williams-Smith, President and CEO of Visit Milwaukee. “This show provides a platform to celebrate Milwaukee’s incredible culture, history, and innovation, showcasing what makes our city so special. We’re eager to collaborate with TEAM LAMMI to promote Milwaukee as a must-visit destination. Based on the success of ‘Good Things Brewing,’ we are confident this show will drive increased awareness of and visitation to Milwaukee in key markets.”
Visit Milwaukee and TEAM LAMMI are also working together to promote Milwaukee in conjunction with the April 2025 NFL Draft, which will be hosted in nearby Green Bay, and Visit Milwaukee is a proud sponsor of TEAM LAMMI’s “Inside the Huddle” television program and the recently updated Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame. All of these sports-related initiatives are aimed at capitalizing on the spotlight and tourism generated by the numerous major sporting events in Milwaukee and Wisconsin in 2025, and each positions Milwaukee as an essential destination for sports fans, travelers, and businesses.
“Milwaukee is a city rich in stories, culture, and opportunity,” said Brian Lammi, founder and CEO of Team Lammi. “With ‘Milwaukee Made’ and our work on the 2025 NFL Draft, we’re proud to shine a spotlight on everything that makes this city an incredible destination. We welcome Milwaukee-area businesses and others who love our city to join us as sponsors and supporters in celebrating Milwaukee through this unique program and our larger promotional efforts.”
