unveil sweeping renovations designed to encapsulate the heart of the La
Costa Lifestyle. Inspired by classic Spanish-style architecture, this
highly anticipated redesign will transform the resort’s 400 unspoiled
acres into a pinnacle of luxury and fresh, quiet elegance.

Set to be unveiled in early Summer 2024, this extensive renovation will
elevate the resort’s every element, from its guest rooms and villas to
the spa and championship golf courses. This visionary redesign melds
timeless charisma with modern sophistication, capturing La Costa’s
illustrious heritage while providing a contemporary haven for travelers
of all kinds. Following a sweeping refresh of the resort’s lobby, bar,
Costa De La Luna ballroom, and meeting spaces in 2021, the property now
enters a new phase of this three-year transformation.
Led by an esteemed design team, an exquisite revitalization of the guest
accommodations, award-winning spa, and Coastal Events Center is set to
unfold, promising an unparalleled experience for guests and setting new
standards of luxury and elegance.
Over 500 renovated guest rooms, including villas, suites, hospitality
rooms and presidential suites, will unveil a fresh new look that blends
history with modernity, enhancing the resort’s beloved architecture with
light airy spaces, soft casual textures, and neutral tones. Fused with
timeless details such as handcrafted painted tiles, dimensional abstract
art and wrought ironwork, these beautiful new spaces will feel
distinctly La Costa. Refreshed rooms and suites include Resort Rooms,
Golf View and 1-Bedroom Suites. The suites tucked away near the Garden
Pool’s courtyard, offering a “hotel-within-a-hotel” feel, will also be
transformed into brighter and more vibrant room offerings while still
encapsulating Spanish colonial architecture with a mid-century twist.
Reimagined villas include Bedroom, Studio, Executive Suite, and 1, 2 &
3-Bedroom Suite villas.
Luxury travelers and wellness seekers have chosen the award-winning Spa
at La Costa to relax and recharge since 1965 when the resort was known
as the “original destination for mind, body, and sport.” The crown
jewel of La Costa, the award-winning spa will undergo a sophisticated
transformation, introducing serene new spaces that invite guests to
unwind and rejuvenate in style. The spa’s updates will include three
luxurious new salt rooms for unwinding and decompressing, refurbished
steam rooms with new aromatherapy features, and new state-of-the-art
equipment in the showers, locker rooms, and select treatment rooms such

quieter features, will be lined with vintage art as a nod to Omni La
Costa’s historic past, when the spa was once a refuge for the world’s

The resort’s championship golf facilities, led by renowned designer Gil
Hanse, will unveil a dramatic redesign, marking the beginning of a new
chapter at one of the country’s most-iconic golf resorts. Home to three
consecutive NCAA Division | Women’s and Men’s Golf Championships
beginning May 2024, the highly-anticipated renovation of the Champions
Course welcomes a new era of golf at Omni La Costa.
Lastly, as the largest resort meeting footprint in the western United

constructed Costa de la Luna and top-to-bottom refresh of the Coastal
Events Center, are poised to host unforgettable gatherings that inspire
