OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma City Convention & Visitors Bureau (Visit OKC) has promoted three staff members within the organization:

Maryam Kari was promoted from Digital Marketing Manager to Senior Digital Marketing Manager. This past year, she successfully spearheaded the newly redesigned VisitOKC.com, MeetinOKC.com, and OKCsports.org, as well, as managed the launch of the Modern Frontier Attractions Pass.  Kari’s social media campaigns consistently perform above the targeted goal, and her tenacity to stay in front of social media trends shows through on all of Visit OKC’s channels.

Katy Birchett-Smith, promoted from Convention Sales Manager to Senior Convention Sales Manager, achieved more than double her goal last fiscal year. She is an active leader within the local hospitality community and has developed several new initiatives related to Visit OKC’s emerging convention scene.

Lastly, Lindsay Vidrine was promoted from Vice President of Destination Marketing to Senior Vice President of Destination Marketing. From marketing creativity to public relations wisdom and overall strategy, Vidrine consistently delivers and provides experiential knowledge from years in the tourism industry.

“These staff members positively contribute to our organization’s culture and continually innovate within our industry,” said Zac Craig, president of the Oklahoma City Convention and Visitors Bureau.  “We are proud to celebrate their hard work and look forward to seeing their future accomplishments.”
