MEET BOSTON APPOINTS NIK PEREIRA AS NEW SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES & SERVICES

NIK PEREIRA Meet Boston

BOSTON (December 20, 2023) – Meet Boston [2], the official destination
marketing and sales organization for the Greater Boston area has
announced the appointment of Nik Pereira as the new Senior Vice
President of Sales & Services effective January 2, 2024.

Nik brings a wealth of knowledge and over 20 years of sales and
operations experience in the hotel and tourism industry. At Meet Boston
he will play a paramount role in overseeing the meeting sales and
destination services side of the organization. Nik will hit the ground
running in 2024 as he joins the Meet Boston leadership team at PCMA
Convening Leaders 2024 happening January 7-10, 2024.

Nik previously served as Vice President of Sales for the Philadelphia
Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) where he led the sales team and
collaborated with over 50 partner hotels in Greater Philadelphia and the
Pennsylvania Convention Center. Before his tenure at the Philadelphia
CVB, he held leadership positions with various hotels including
Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia and spent 15 years with Starwood Hotels &
Resorts Worldwide.

time for Nik to join Meet Boston and take our sales team to the next level.”

driving more meetings and visitors to a vibrant, cultural, and inclusive city.”

An active member of the Greater Boston community, Meet Boston has
established The Meet Boston Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization designed
to support community programming and initiatives that bring tourism to
the destination and respective communities, and the sales team will also
support this effort under Pereira’s leadership.  

Nik holds a bachelor’s degree in hospitality administration from the
Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration in India, and a
master’s in business administration from Johnson and Wales University
in Providence, Rhode Island.
