Opening in January 2025, Fidelity Hotel will redefine luxury in the city’s historic district
CLEVELAND (October 31, 2024) – New Waterloo [5], a dynamic,
community-centric independent hotel management company, announced today
that reservations are now available at the soon-to-open Fidelity Hotel [1].
With an unwavering commitment to Cleveland, Fidelity Hotel is poised to
redefine luxury in the ‘comeback city.’ Located in Cleveland’s
Euclid Avenue historic district, Fidelity Hotel is an adaptive reuse of
the historic 103-year-old Baker Building. Located steps away from
shopping, dining, concerts, sporting events, and more, the property will
feature 97 guest rooms and suites, a full-service restaurant, bar,
meeting space and more. Designed by Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture
(HPA) and built by Whiting-Turner, the hotel will feature
custom-designed furniture and thoughtfully curated art that pays homage
to the richness of the city and its future. Curioso and Looney &
Associates designed all guestrooms, suites, and public spaces with a
meticulous eye for the details that balance old and new, including rich
colors and patterns, unlacquered brass, hardwood and marble floors, and
antiqued mirrors.
“New Waterloo has a deep commitment to Cleveland, and we’re
collectively excited to launch Fidelity Hotel to locals and visitors
alike,” said Eric Conrad, general manager at Fidelity Hotel.
Fidelity Hotel is passionate about making a positive impact on the
Cleveland community through various social initiatives and partnerships.
Collaborating with Whiting-Turner, the hotel prioritizes diversity,
equity, and inclusion throughout its construction and operational
practices, actively recruiting minority, female, and low-income workers.
The hotel will also implement community-specific social impact programs,
where a percentage of bookings will benefit local nonprofits focused on
food security, workforce development, and community revitalization. For
instance, for guests who book the Community Love [6] package, $10 of
each paid room night will be donated to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank.
“We are proud and honored to be a catalyst in the downtown Cleveland
area and feel an overwhelming sense of joy to know we’re serving the
future of a community we love,” continued Conrad.
As a premier downtown Cleveland lifestyle hotel, Fidelity Hotel will
offer a boutique, residential-style stay and is poised to be a gathering
place with vibrant offerings that will provide plentiful opportunities for
business and leisure. From a guest room perspective, rooms will be
outfitted with custom-designed furniture, Waterworks fixtures, and
luxurious Bellino Italian linens. Guests can enjoy thoughtful touches
like locally sourced pour-over coffee, curated minibars, twice-a-day
housekeeping, Allegrini bathroom products, and plush Parachute co-branded
robes. Hotel amenities include 24-hour concierge and guest services, a
24-hour fitness center complete with Technogym equipment, Peloton bikes,
CLMBR and a FORME mirror; complimentary newspapers, in-room dining,
locally sourced mini-bars. And more. Fidelity Hotel will also offer
versatile and artful event spaces perfect for various
gatherings, from corporate meetings to intimate social occasions.
