KISSIMMEE, Fla. – April 30, 2024 – Delta Hotels Orlando Celebration
appoints Carl Rodgers as general manager and Biljana Djokovic as director of
sales and marketing for the resort located one mile from Walt Disney
World, bordering the charming town of Celebration.
Rodgers brings nearly 40 years of hospitality experience in various
roles, including work with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Davidson
Hospitality and 20 years with Starwood Hotels & Resorts’ iconic
properties, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, and the then-Westin
Diplomat. His most recent role was general manager of the Wyndham
Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida since 2014.
His extensive hospitality experience includes front desk, housekeeping,
food & beverage, reservations, accounting, and security. His career is
marked by his strong track record of working collaboratively with
owners, creating budgets, improving service scores, and building strong
cultures.
Rodgers holds an Associate of Science degree in hospitality management
from Naugatuck Valley Community College and a Six Sigma Black Belt
certification.
Djokovic brings nearly 15 years of experience in sales and marketing at
various hotels and hospitality companies, including Sheraton, Westin,
Aimbridge Hospitality, LBA Hospitality, and AD1 Global.
She has extensive expertise with various hotel brands, delivering
successful business-specific solutions, a track record of exceptional
sales performance, financial achievements, and motivating teams through
hands-on management.
Djokovic holds a Bachelor of Arts in legal studies and a Master of
Business Administration from the University of Central Florida in
Orlando, Florida.
