(LOS ANGELES – Jan. 25, 2024) — ASM Global shattered it’s
previous initial “Global Month of Giving” initiative resulted by one
million dollars highlighted by programs and contributions anchored by
its workforce around the globe engaging in local community activities
reflecting the company’s commitment to the people and places where it
operates.

ASM Global’s corporate social responsibility platform, ASM Global Acts
(unveiled in 2021), elevated the entertainment giant’s commitment to
protect the environment, invest in people, and strengthen communities
around the globe.

At that time ASM Global also announced the ASM Global Acts Foundation
to support philanthropic and community-based endeavors guided by its
sustainability and diversity pillars. In addition, the ASM Global Acts
Scholarship focuses on serving diverse and under-resourced communities
with educational and career-development opportunities. In 2023 it
provided 50 scholarships with plans to double that number in 2024.

“This year we had an unprecedented level of participation and
collective effort from the ASM Global teams worldwide,” said Ron
Bension, president, and CEO of ASM Global. “It is truly heartening to
see the impact we can make when we come together for a common cause,
giving back to the communities in which we work and live.”

ASM Global’s Chief Human Resources Officer, Shauna Elvin, said,
“What makes a community is caring for each other. ASM takes tremendous
pride in truly belonging to our hometowns around the world. These
fabulous programs which took place in November and December energized
our workforce and connected us with our neighbors via amazing acts of
compassion and kindness.”

“ASM Global Month of Giving” activities spanned the earth and
included such international activities as a fundraising night walkathon
at Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Sports Park, whose main goal was to prevent
blindness worldwide via a midnight-to-dawn walk; In Australia a charity
Golf Day to help all people with hearing loss; United Kingdom’s AO
Arena volunteers gave time by working and facilitating donations at
local soup kitchen where they cooked and prepared meals; In Columbus
Ohio by hosting a butterfly location and raising funds; Soldier Field
Chicago hosting Thanksgiving lunches and many, many more.

Aligned with many of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals,
the new “ASM Global Month of Giving” is an extension of ASM
Global’s longstanding commitments to creating a better workplace, a
more diverse workforce, serving the communities where it operates, and
contributing to a healthier environment and planet. The execution of
these commitments happen at both the corporate and local levels,
creating value at scale within communities.
