Visit Winston-Salem Hires National Sales Manager

  • WINSTON-SALEM, NC – Visit Winston-Salem announces Karen Robertson as the new national sales manager responsible for booking faith-based, multi-cultural, and association meetings and conventions.

    With more than two decades of hospitality industry experience, Robertson was most recently group sales manager at the DoubleTree Charleston Airport and prior to that Embassy Suites Hotel Charleston Area Convention Center, handling corporate and association business. Prior to Charleston, Robertson spent nearly three years as director of sales for the Gatlinburg Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB).  During her time in Tennessee, she served on the committee that established the state’s first sports commission. Robertson has held sales positions at other hotels and CVBs throughout Ohio, North Carolina and Tennessee, and was presented the “Supplier of the Year” award by the North Carolina Society of Government Meeting Professionals in 2010.
