CLEVELAND, OH — Conventioneers headed to Cleveland will soon have new lodging options, as well as a new shopping, dining and entertainment hub to visit during their free time. Tower City Center is being developed in an iconic, 1930s art deco building in the heart of downtown. Visitors will be able to explore a collection of small and minority-owned stores, as well as a new store and event space from fashion retailer XHIBITION.
The following hotels are also on the horizon:
ROOST Apartment Hotel (early 2022). This boutique hotel in The May building will offer 62 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments available for stays of all lengths, with amenities including a yoga studio, three-story open-air atrium and panoramic rooftop terrace.
The Orbit Hotel (2022). A former NASA site is being converted into The Orbit Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham. The 54-room, boutique hotel will feature a mid-century modern design, fitness center and outdoor pool.
W Hotel (2023). This 210-room downtown property will include a 15,000-sq.-ft. ballroom and events center, a full-service spa and gym, and a restaurant and bar on the 38th floor with panoramic city views.
Hotel Cleveland (2023). After extensive renovations to its 1918 building, the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel will be rebranded as the Hotel Cleveland. The 491-room hotel will be part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection.
