PHILADELPHIA, PA — Kavin Schieferdecker has joined the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau (PHLCVB) as Senior Vice President, Convention Division. In this role, he will be charged with achieving an annual room night goal through meeting and convention sales. He will also oversee the PHLCVB’s services team, which provides on-the-ground support to meetings and conventions.
A hotel industry veteran with more than two decades of experience, Schieferdecker most recently served as the Director of Sales and Marketing at the Hilton Anatole, in Dallas, TX. Prior to that, he spent 13 years with Marriott International in variety of sales leadership roles with stints in Boston, Vancouver, San Antonio, Cleveland, Washington, DC, and Philadelphia.
