AMES, IA — The City of Hermiston, OR, and Umatilla County have awarded management of the Eastern Oregon Trade and Event Center (EOTEC) to Ames, IA-based venue management company, VenuWorks.
“VenuWorks will be a great fit for EOTEC and for the Hermiston community. We are very pleased to welcome VenuWorks as the management firm for the facility,” stated City Manager Byron Smith.
Following the commencement of the management agreement, VenuWorks conducted a national search and named Al Davis (pictured right) as General Manager of EOTEC. Davis relocated from Manhattan, KA, where he served as President and CEO for Kansas Agriculture and Rural Leadership.
